This page explains what is stored about a person who holds a card, and what is done with it.
Phone number, and optionally a name, an email address and a birthday. Each scan writes a ledger row with the amount, the location and the staff member.
To identify the card at the counter, to keep the balance correct, and to send the messages the customer consented to.
Only the business whose card it is. Businesses never see each other customers, and a phone number is never sold or shared for advertising.
For as long as the card is active, and afterwards only as anonymous ledger rows kept for accounting.
A customer can see, correct and delete their data from the portal. Deleting erases the name, email and phone and revokes every pass.
